Understanding the Calendar

We believe it's prudent to keep personal names and addresses private so, rather than naming microchurches by their leader and host (as we might see in a conventional church with small groups), we identify microchurches by a unique code, and list zip codes for general location per event. While admittedly impersonal, we hope this decision allows for the networking of many microchurches in many places while allowing personal information to be known through personal relationship rather than public records.

The code name for each microchurch references the City (Regional Airport Code), Year started, Month started, and Number started in that month/location, as follows: "CCC-YY-MM-NN." For example,

• "SRQ-21-06-01" refers to Sarasota, Florida - Year 2021 - Month of June - First microchurch started in Sarasota in June. That can be read backwards as the first microchurch to be established in June of 2021 in Sarasota, Florida. (Open the calendar event and you'll see that this microchurch meets in the 34232 Zip Code.)
• "SRQ-21-10-01" refers to the first microchurch to be established in October of 2021 in Sarasota, FL.
• "SRQ-21-10-02" refers to the second church to be established that same month.
• "SRQ-21-11-01" refers to the first church to be established in Sarasota in November.
